Acre Made is a Canadian furniture company that focuses on building sustainable handcrafted furniture. They create made-to-order furniture and custom furniture pieces in both the B2C and B2B space, crafting beautiful furniture for homeowners, interior designers, commercial office spaces, and other industry professionals.

We started working with the company in 2017. At the time, they were called Son of a Woodcutter. As their business evolved, so did the brand. Acre Made was ready to rebrand to reflect the evolution of their design style and their growth. They needed a new identity that would help to reposition the brand.
This is a company driven by strong values – integrity, sustainability, and quality craftsmanship to name a few – so creating an updated brand that stayed true to those values was key. With the launch of the new rebrand, we needed a rollout strategy that allowed them to hang on to their existing brand reputation and brand recognition, all while differentiating themselves. We also needed a new and updated marketing strategy that was better aligned with their short-term and long-term goals.
We worked with the company’s owners to choose a new brand name, and develop a new identity for the company. This collaboration resulted in the Acre Made brand as it is today.
Once the brand phase was complete, we developed a comprehensive e-commerce website on Shopify that allowed them to sell their D2C furniture products while still showcasing their custom furniture design and build service. As part of the online experience, we created strategic email automations and optimized the website for conversions.
We then rolled out the brand with a multi-channel approach that included email, social media, content marketing and more. The goal was to expand brand awareness as well as educate past customers on the new direction of the brand.
We also worked with Acre Made to introduce a new and improved trade program to benefit interior designers and other professionals.
Our marketing efforts resulted in an increased social media reach and increased engagement. Our updated email marketing strategy has resulted in average open rates of more than 35%.
